Project Type: Construction Services for Owner Oversight Inspection and Owner Verification Testing

In 2020 Great Lakes Engineering Group (GLEG) was selected by MDOT and the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) to complete owner oversight and verification testing to confirm that the work completed by the Project Company is in accordance with the Project Agreement for the Gordie Howe International Bridge (Project Agreement). Construction services provided include: oversight inspection, owner oversight testing and reporting, determining compliance with the project agreement, and associated documentation. Testing services will be used for road hot mix asphalt construction, Portland cement construction, aggregate construction, bridge construction, grading ditching and drainage, joint repair and pavement markings. Work for this project is typically scheduled for 6 days a week, 8 hours a day.
